Who are we?

Founded by Djallel Aimar, an economist and researcher specializing in macroeconomics, international trade, and policy analysis, The Econ Post was launched in 2025 as a platform to bridge the gap between academic research, policy discussions, and real-world economic challenges.

With a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Mentouri University (2006-2010), a Master’s degree in International Trade and Policy from Ajou University, South Korea (2016-2018), and a Doctorate in Economics from Karadeniz Technical University, Turkey (2019-2025), I have dedicated my career to understanding and analyzing global economic trends.

Professionally, I have served as Chief Economist at the Ministry of Trade in Algeria, Constantine directory, gaining firsthand experience in trade policies, economic development, and international market dynamics.

With expertise in Macroeconomics, International Economics, Applied Economics & Policy Analysis, and Development Economics, The Econ Post provides data-driven insights, expert analysis, and clear explanations of complex economic issues.
